I take on commissions a few times a year, working in my current style/aesthetic/color palette.  I typically communicate when this happens through my newsletter and social media.  If you are interested in hearing more about when this may happen, please sign up for my newsletter or for specific questions, contact me directly.

Before you begin to commission me to do a painting for your residential space there are a few things to know about the process...

  • After a phone conversation and a $100 non-refundable deposit, I will add you to the list.

  • I charge 25% more for custom work.

  • Pricing begins at $1650, depending on the size of the art.

  • I will always send a proposal with the details via email.

  • It takes me between 14-16 weeks to complete a project.

  • I provide a preliminary sketch of the project to make sure you are comfortable with the composition and color.

  • If you are local, I will happily visit your space and offer up suggestions.

  • If you are not local, we can facetime or zoom your space.

  • I will not copy another artist's works (please don't ask).

  • I will happily use my own work as inspiration, but I will not guarantee that it will look exactly the same. My art is original and comes from within, anytime I am asked to "copy" it loses its magic.

  • I will work from photographs of nature as long as the photographer has given permission.

  • I do not paint people.

Trust me with the process, I have been a watercolor artist and painting commissions for years.  I have seen it all and can tell when my creativity is being compromised. I promise to work closely with you, so you are comfortable through the whole experience.

Let's create a beautiful painting just for you...

It's a privilege to have someone ask me to paint a special piece of art for them.  I never take the request lightly. The process is very personal for me, which is why I limit my commission spaces.  I want to be able to give 100% of my creativity to each one of these projects and collectors.
